1. Incline Walking targets all 3

Walking is ho-hum. Yawn… lets face it, it’s boring. Plus, it doesn’t work that great if you’re looking for quick results. So put walking aside, and now lets focus on incline walking.

There’s a big difference between the two exercises.

Incline walking better targets the legs, butt, and hips. Not only that, it creates a very big oxygen deficit which forces your body to burn off a lot of it’s own fat.

I suggest you find a treadmill and incline it 10 degrees and get walking. 15 minutes is a great start, but try to go for 20 minutes. Eventually, raise the incline to 15 degrees too.

2. Stair stepper

Ok, you probably know plenty about this, but it’s basically like walking on an incline in that it targets with laser precision all 3 problem zones.

The key to making this work well for you is to vary your intensity levels. Do intervals where it’s really hard and then after a hard interval, ease up and do an easy interval.

This is called “HIIT”… short for high intensity interval training. The intensity is the key towards weight loss. You need some of it, even if it’s only for 15 seconds at a time.

And don’t worry, each 15 seconds of high intensity is followed by 30 seconds of low intensity.
